Catching public transport to medical appointments, work, or visiting family and friends can be challenging sometimes. MKM Disability and Care provides transport support services that includes enabling participants to build the capacity to travel independently and safely and use public transport.

Our team of experienced support workers provides one-on-one assistance to help NDIS participants access a range of transport options, including public transport, taxis, and community transport.

MKM Disability and Care staff will provide training to increase your independence through public transport by helping you to familiarise yourself with bus/train timetables, public transport routes, buying and recharging an Opal card, as well as how to use it. Our aim is to make your travel journey on public transport as easy and comfortable as possible, so you enjoy your time out and about in the community.

With NDIS, you have the power to choose the services that best suit your needs and goals, including how services are delivered. Each of the transport services can be tailored to your specific requirements and changed as your needs change.

MKM Disability & Care provides flexible and convenient transport services to all our patients. Our transport support enables our clients to travel independently with the required equipment and aid.

A participant’s transport supports may also include the reasonable and necessary costs of taxis or other private transport options for participants who are not able to travel independently.

MKM Disability & Care trained staff members will aid in providing you safe and comfortable transportation with a well-trained, licensed driver. In order to avail of our transport support, all you have to do is schedule an appointment with us and our team will handle the rest.
